Time to write a little about the latest great update again. Every townsperson now has a life dream of their own â and you can help (or block) it from coming true. Mostly, block.
How does this work?
- Every resident has a life dream and a roadmap toward it: education, dream job, wealth and family. Open a resident card â the new Dream section shows the dreams and which ones have come true.
- The dream forms in childhood: kids of wealthy, educated parents dream big, those from humble backgrounds settle for less â and some little Reino is already dreaming of a crime-boss career at age six.
- Residents pursue their dreams: they're more likely to study the right field and chase their dream job if the city makes it possible. If you don't make it possible, they head to the nearest landfill instead and remind you about it regularly.
When a dream stalls
A missing school or job lands on the roadmap in red â ïž â and shows up in the suggestion box and the local paper. Nothing motivates a townsperson to write feedback quite like a shattered dream. Build the right things and your residents reach their dreams and cheer up â and you get a moment's peace!
There's also a new đ„ Residents button that opens the resident list: search by name, sort, and see each one's wealth, personality, housing type and dream at a glance. In other words: who you've let down and who you haven't â conveniently in one list.
